How to Clean the Bottom of a Swimming Pool
Swimming pools are the best place to spend your summer. The cool water and the fun things that you could do on it are simply overwhelming and exciting. Spending the time on the swimming pool with your friends, family members, relatives and whoever you want to spend it with would definitely end up to countless hours of fun. In addition, if you have your own swimming pool in your house, that would be more fun and enticing.
Imagine not having to go out on public pools just to enjoy the summer. All you have to do is go to your very own pool and have fun with friends or family members.
However, unlike public pools, owning your very own swimming pool could be a little bit challenging because of that fact that you are going to be the very person who would have to maintain and keep it clean. Swimming pools require regular maintenance and periodic cleaning to maintain its safety and cleanliness, which is very suitable for us to bathe. You don’t want to bathe or swim on a dirty pool, right? That is why you have to do this.
Different pools have similar methods of cleaning. However, what differs is the process that you are going to clean different parts of the pool. Like the bottom of the pool for example; you cannot simply drain the water out every day because that’s a lot of wasted water on your side. Diving on the pool and brushing it manually is also a very impractical idea because you could only stay for a while under water and renting a scuba gear and oxygen tank is impractical. So what can you do instead?
After a while, your pool’s bottom floor gets all the dirt that has been accumulated from all the people (including you) who have bathed on the swimming pool. To clean it effectively, you could use an automatic pool cleaning system, which would automatically make sure that your pool is clean. However, that alone is not enough because these APC’s are not capable of cleaning your pool thoroughly. What you should do is to get a pool brush with a long handle so that you could clean the bottom of your pool from above it without a problem. Brush the pool’s bottom floor properly and systematically; starting from a spot and progressing to the other spot rhythmically. Concentrate on the hard to reach areas like the corners and the stairs. Once you have done brushing it, run your underwater pool vacuum cleaner to suction up the dirt that was loosen from brushing it. Again, do it properly and systematically. This is necessary because it would make the job easier. That is how you clean a pool’s bottom floor surface.
It is necessary to do this on a regular basis if you really wanted to maintain the clear cleanliness of your swimming pool. That is all that you need to know.
